Music Controller, Midi and OSC for the wiimote

Music Controller, Wiimote (wii remote) + MIDI + OSC (open sound control) made simple for OSX. Now with an improved performance and newer interface!

I updated the Music Controller to version v1.0.0-beta, with new interface and dmg installation image! wow!!!!

Description
This is a simple program to send midi and osc values to a midi ports or osc clients. Keep in mind that I do this in my spare time, and it could have glitches (besides I use ir for my live shows)

It is a fork from Wii2Midi by Mike Verdone: http://mike.verdone.ca/wiitomidi

Extras
If you checkout the source code from github (http://github.com/davebv/Music-Controller) there are some goodies.
In the "extra" folder, you will find patches for supercollider, puredata and glovepie

  • PlotOSC.pd: puredata patch to test the OSC from musiccontroller.
  • supercollider.txt: patch from Thor Magnusson - www.ixi-audio.net, to talk to supercollider.
  • MzWii-0.4.PIE: a glovepie script, which funcionality is similar to the musiccontroller for osx. Windows only.
