Drupal as a choice

Now it's time for drupal. I chose drupal I do not know exactly why. I was looking for a flexible CMS, and wordpress seemed to be mainly for blogs.

I needed more, multimedia, pages, private content... etc. I found a lot of documentation of drupal and then I tried.

Drupal has one major advantage over the rest of CMS. It has 2 modules that makes it kind of god of CMS: CCK and Views. With no programming at all and these two modules, you can make almost anything.

Drupal has one big drawback, for me and my case and it is the files management. Well, it is a problem because it barely have one. (I thing the developers are on it).

Anyway I started using it, and find it quite useful and started to develop two modules, one of them could be taken as finished and is in drupal page:

It is a module which adds several blocks for slideshow with fancy effects.

So... wow, 3 posts in one day, amazing.
